Basketball ClinicOn April 7, 2008, the Golden State Warriors hosted the inaugural "Nicholas Colby Fund Basketball Clinic" with coach Stephen Silas and Warriors guard Monta Ellis at the Warriors Practice Facility. This basketball clinic included patients from Stanford-Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital Oakland, and UCSF-Children's Hospital. Thunder (Warriors mascot) was also there to lend a helping hand to the participants. This NBA Cares, Warriors Foundation video clip was played during half-time of the Warriors April 8 game against the Sacramento Kings. (It does not include the verbal message that was announced about the Nicholas Colby Fund as the video began to play.)

A branded event / experience with the Golden State Warriors. The Golden State Warriors created this opportunity for patients associated with The Nicholas Colby Fund® to be treated like a basketball star. Along with our efforts to make this a time to cherish, we are providing patients from children's hospitals and a parent to jointly take part in this clinic at the Warriors Practice Facility. The inaugural basketball clinic was held April 7, 2008. Nicholas' love and the love of the Warriors' organization is amazing... generating amazing things like this experience.
